SieMatic advises:

what does a kitchen cost?

When designing a new or renovating an existing kitchen, one of the first questions you ask yourself is, "What will a new kitchen cost?". We are happy to help you get started, to give you an idea of the cost of a SieMatic kitchen and the choices that can affect the price. After all, what you will spend for a kitchen depends on several factors. The size of the kitchen, of course, but also the choices you make for the kitchen furniture, the front material, the kitchen appliances and the design of the worktop, tap and sink play a role in this.

For the kitchen furniture, SieMatic offers you a wide choice of materials, colours and finishes to match how you use the kitchen with, on the one hand, the practical and functional requirements and, on the other hand, how the shape of the kitchen, the materials and the colours you choose fit into your interior and lifestyle.

SieMatic SLC Collection: any kitchen can be a SieMatic.

To give you an idea of the cost of your future kitchen, we have created a number of SieMatic kitchen designs that might suit your home, your taste and lifestyle, as well as your budget.

These examples will help you get an idea of what you find beautiful and important, and let you discover different solutions and alternatives.  You may need to adjust your wishes or reconsider your priorities, but in any case, we hope to help you make an informed choice.

In short, the following applies to everything you read and see on this page: You will always be wiser.

The kitchen island: where life is celebrated

SieMatic's designers always first consider whether the available space can accommodate a kitchen with an island for cooking, washing up, preparing food, but also as a meeting place for the whole family, family and friends. The place where life is celebrated. Imagining such a kitchen is a challenge for SieMatic's designers every time. And they almost always succeed. Have a look.

Our tips for your individual kitchen

Kitchen furniture

The size of the kitchen determines how much kitchen furniture you will need for the kitchen. Take stock of how much storage space you really need. Perhaps useful to know the storage space in a tall unit is at least equal to 4 wall units, and in a tall unit you always have more overview and everything you store is easy to grab.

Kitchen appliances

The choice of kitchen appliances is overwhelming. And for every extra option, it also costs extra. Write down what you think are the most important functions for your hob, oven and dishwasher. Think about the size of your fridge and freezer (can't it be in the pantry?). Also compare different brands to come to the right choice.

The worktop in the kitchen is becoming increasingly important. There are materials such as natural stone, composite and ceramic with beautiful designs and prints that make the worktop a real eye-catcher in your new kitchen. But nowadays, practical plastic worktops also offer new designs. Also look at the thickness of the worktop. Practical thicknesses: 2 and 4 cm have the best price/quality ratio.

Have fun choosing

Start with the layout of the kitchen, making sure you are convinced that you feel completely at home in it, and then get to work choosing materials, kitchen appliances and worktop.
Have fun choosing your new kitchen, preferably a SieMatic.
